Best Vegan Meal Deals in the UK (2025)

If there’s one thing I’ll always rate about the UK, it’s the humble meal deal. You just can’t beat the combo of a sandwich, crisps (I go for Disco salt & vinegar), and a drink (orange juice, every time). My go-to is the Tesco Plant Chef Vegan Breakfast Sandwich, but if I’m near a Greggs, then it’s a vegan sausage roll and orange juice situation. This post isn’t about my favourites though, it’s about what’s actually out there. Let’s get into the best vegan meal deals in the UK right now.

Tesco (with Clubcard: £3.40 / without: £3.90)

Tesco has one of the best selections for vegan meal deals, especially if you have a Clubcard. Options include:

  • Plant Chef Vegan Breakfast Sandwich
  • Plant Chef Smoky BBQ Wrap
  • Wicked Kitchen All The Smoke Sandwich

Sainsbury’s (same price with or without Nectar card: £3.50)

Sainsbury’s (same price with or without Nectar card: £3.50)

Sainsbury’s has a pretty good range of labelled vegan sandwiches. Options vary by location but may include:

  • Plant Pioneers No Chicken Caesar Wrap
  • Falafel & Houmous Wrap
  • Plant-based ‘Chicken’ Tikka Sandwich

Comes with a snack and a drink, and unlike others, the price is the same whether you’ve got a Nectar card or not.

Co-op (with membership: £3.50 / without: £4.00)

The Co-op meal deal isn’t the cheapest unless you’ve got a membership, but it does often have clearly labelled vegan choices like:

  • GRO No Tuna & Sweetcorn Sandwich
  • GRO Falafel & Houmous Wrap
  • GRO Chicken Salad Sandwich

Their drinks and snack options are decent, and you’ll save 50p if you scan your card.

Morrisons (with More card: £3.50 / without: £4.00)

Morrisons has a decent vegan selection too, with options like:

  • V Taste No Chicken Shawarma Wrap
  • Falafel & Red Pepper Sandwich
  • Sweet Potato Bhaji Wrap

Their loyalty scheme also knocks 50p off if you’ve got the More card.

Waitrose (£5.00 – no loyalty discount)

Waitrose doesn’t run a typical £3 to £4 meal deal but they do offer a lunch bundle for £5. You can often find:

  • Vegan BLT
  • Sweet Potato Falafel Wrap
  • Harissa Carrot & Houmous Sandwich

Plus a snack and a drink from the lunchtime range.

Marks & Spencer (no official deal – sandwiches start from £4.25)

M&S doesn’t offer a traditional meal deal, but they do have labelled vegan sandwiches like:

  • Plant Kitchen No Chicken & Sweetcorn
  • No Tuna & Sweetcorn
  • Plant Kitchen Hoisin No Duck Wrap

No savings bundle, but you can pair them with a drink and crisps if you want your own version.

Greggs (varies – usually around £3.60 to £4.00 for a pastry and drink combo)

Greggs does offer meal deals, especially for breakfast. Most locations will let you pair a vegan sausage roll with a drink for a reduced price. Check the boards or the app. They also sometimes offer cold drinks and pastry combos at a lower price in store.

Honourable Mention: Subway (prices vary by branch)

Subway’s Vegan T.L.C. (Tastes Like Chicken) Sub or Vegan Patty can be added to their meal deal. Options and prices change depending on branch, but most let you add crisps or cookies and a drink.

What to Expect in a Meal Deal

The standard formula is:

  • One sandwich, wrap, salad or hot item
  • One snack (crisps, fruit, nuts)
  • One drink (juice, fizzy, or water)

Not all branches will carry every vegan item, and sandwich fillings rotate often, especially at Tesco, Sainsbury’s, and Co-op.

Final Tip

If you’re looking for even more vegan options near you, apps like HappyCow can help you find fully vegan cafes or local health shops with meal deal style offerings.
